"Jae had her open house on Nov 10th and the whole Korean Baptist Church came over.  There was much praying for success and singing.  Then my pastor from the American Baptist Church came by and prayed with us for prosperity.  We put on a big spread of food and drinks for everybody and everyone was impressed with the look of the salon.  Of course they all asked "what's that hanging from the ceiling?"  And we had to tell them all about the Freestyle Blowdryers.  Everyone was amazed.  Jae also installed a "Halo" radient-heat color processing machine which was the source of many questions and comments.  We believe the Freestyles and the Halo are the only ones of their kind in this area, which makes Salon Chic one of the most up to date shops around.  Of course Jae adds the skill and personality.  I'm just the muscle (carpenter, plumber, yard man, and sweeper).  The first day, Nov 11th,  she did almost $800, and has averaged about $400 @ day since then.  Keep in mind that Enterprise, AL has a population of only about 25,000 people and about 45,000 more in the surrounding Coffee County area.  
I'd say about 95+% of her clients from JC Penney have come over to the new salon, and her only advertising was a one-time postcard direct-mailing.  I guess when you're good, your reputation does the talking and you don't have to spend alot to get the word out.  Will work on the pictures and send them soon."

Katie:  It was very difficult to get used to at first.  But now I absolutely LOVE THEM!  I can't imagine going back to the old dryers.
